We are looking for an experienced pizza chef to join the Proof Pizza arm of our bakery, working from our beautiful new food truck at events, pop ups, and our home base at the Tap Social Taproom.
Desired experience: minimum one year in a restaurant and pizza experience, and a clean UK driving license
Main responsibilities and required skills:

Hand stretching and shaping sourdough pizza bases, topping them, and cooking them in our Gozney pizza ovens

involvement in all aspects of running and maintaining the Proof Pizza food truck

responsible for food hygiene and health and safety when on site

training of junior team members to be able to produce high quality products

customer service, taking orders, and liaising with customers

holding a valid UK driver’s license and being comfortable driving the food truck to different locations
-
ordering and stock rotation of all ingredients (dough from Proof Bakehouse, pizza toppings, gas canisters, etc.)

involvement in menu development and regularly changing the pizza offering

level 2 food hygiene and first aid qualifications ideal (though will be offered if not already qualified)

Job Type: Full time, permanent. Mostly Wednesday to Sunday approximately 3-11pm, approximately 40 hours per week, evenings and weekends required
