On December 25, 2017, our crowdfunding campaign ended – raising a total of £32,744 by 305 supporters. We’d like to thank everyone for their generosity and support – we are so grateful for the incredible community we have behind us. We’ll now be making some much-needed renovations to our taproom to make the space better suited for all seasons, and expanding our brewery.TAKE A LOOK AT THE CAMPAIGN
Founded in 2016, Tap Social Movement grew out of a passion for good beer and social justice. We are a craft brewery which provides training courses for people serving prison sentences, offering courses in brewing and business start-up, and providing one-on-one support in securing permanent employment to assist in effective rehabilitation.Read more

We make beers that we love to drink! Our core range includes favourites like GOODSIZE EH?, our citrusy American pale ale, 29 IN A MILLION, our English pale ale, and seasonal sours like the BLEEDING HEART NUMBSKULL series. We also have a range of darker ales including GREBE’S PROCESSION, our rich, roasty oatmeal stout.
We use water, malt, hops and yeast to brew our beers, and add fruit, herbs and spices for great flavour. We don’t use any finings to clear our beers so they have a natural haze and are vegan-friendly. Our beers are served in bottle or by keykeg. They are naturally carbonated through the conditioning process, we don’t add any gas to them.Read more
In addition to our brewery, our premises holds our taproom and bottle shop which are open to the public and available for event hire. Starting soon, we will be offering brewing courses where individuals and groups of any size can learn how to brew and take home their own beer.
If you are interested in booking the taproom for an event please email email@example.com.Read more
