Last night we danced to seventies soul with Grannies to the left of us and Goths to the right and everyone else in between on whatever that spectrum is. It sums Tap Social up, it is for everyone and it makes you feel good to be there. The beer is great the place is oozing cool, they keep it fresh with different discos, live music and events, and the food always hits the spot. Above all they are a positive happy bunch of people doing good for ex-offenders and somehow providing the glue that brings everyone from Grannies to Goths together to have a great night. Go feel good at Tap Social.

I would say that [Tap Social] was pivotal in me being able to walk straight from prison into paid employment.... When I was released, the Tap team were able to place me with one of their partner employers, a specialist recruiter to the construction and infrastructure sector. Upon meeting, the people at TAP had already sold the people on the idea that I could be a good fit for them. They spoke highly of me at a time when my self esteem may not have been the highest. Upon being offered the role I was told that TAPs referral was enough of guarantee for them to be confident of offering me a role. Things are all good with me: I'm still working there and l'm in good health. I would like to thank you guys for the opportunity given both at Tap and for the introduction to [the firm]. Suffice to say its proved fruitful – you guys can add to me the proud list of Tap success stories!

Social Enterprise Hub - eScalate Programme OxLEP
We are delighted to be one of Oxfordshire’s 6 social enterprise hubs, a key aspect of the OxLEP’s 3 year business support programme - eScalate. We will be running workshops, networking events and peer-to-peer learning sessions to help social entrepreneurs, charities and purposeful businesses to learn new skills, forge partnerships and increase their social and environmental impact.
We are excited to be working in close partnership with OSEP (Oxfordshire Social Enterprise Partnership) and the other social enterprise hubs in the county to help deliver this programme of events and support for early stage and / or growing social businesses.
